'PasteSpecial method of Range class failed' error

My macro keeps receiving the above error whenever I try to execute it. The error wasn't present in an earlier version - but in that version I had forgotten to select the area that I wanted the cells to be pasted into (and so they got pasted wherever I had left the cursor).

    Here is the code:

'data_export_initial', 'data_export' and 'macro' are other macros that are working fine. The error comes at the point that I have marked. Does this paste special need the entire range of the cells I want it pasted into or just the range of the cell in the top left hand corner of the range (because it doesn't seem to work with either...)

    I'm using Excel 2010.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
