    Merging Rows

Hi all. I'm very new to Excel Programming, and I need some assistance streamlining a project I have.

In short, I have a 2000 row, 3 column spreadsheet I need to clean up. In the attached spreadsheet, I have provided a sample of what much of the data currently looks like and what it ought to look like when I finish.

I am mostly concerned about the first two columns. In A, I need to merge the rows while retaining all of the data in one of two formats (whatever is easier). Say we have the years 1995, 1996, and 1997 A1, A2, and A3. It should look like 1995, 1996, 1997 in A1 OR 1995 (ALT-Enter) 1996 (ALT-Enter) 1997 (ALT-Enter) in A1.

In column B, I need to merge the rows, retain all of the data, and format them using the latter method outlined above.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and please let me know if you need any clarification. I think this would save me about 6 hours of work. Remember, I'm still very new at this, and while I could probably look at the code and figure out the string of logic, I'd likely need a push in the right direction as far as execution goes.

    Thank you very much!

    Very respectfully,

    Jim
