    more than 3 conditional formatting

According to the attached sample I would need a macro which can solve my request:
    - when I write NO in a cell the macro should be formatting the active cells and the next 2 cells to fill them with light grey colour.
The original woorkbook already contains more than 3 conditional formatting for these cells.

Re: more than 3 conditional formatting

Before a macro solution comes from anybody, Excel 2007 and 2010 support conditional formatting at many levels

Re: more than 3 conditional formatting

marc5354: thank you for your solution but I would need some additional function to that.
If I enter the "NO" or some word (as your indicated that into your macro) the previous two cells has to be coloured.
Example: If I enter No in A12 I would like to see the A10 and A11 cells with the same colour.
Do you have solution for this?
