    Naming cells in VBA

    Hello everyone,

I wonder if you could help me please?

On one tab I have several definitions of time segments. Would it be possible to have a box flash up asking the user to select which data they would like to use and what they would like to name it?

Once the user has selected the data, named it and pressed continue (I guess it would have to have a cancel button too), the cells will be named in excel as requested by the user (they will probably need to be referred to in a v-lookup formula later on).

The name would have been entered in the spreadsheet below the table it is referring to and on the next tab, a column will be entered after the column headed 'time'. The heading of the new column would be the name the user has just given.

I'm not even certain if this is possible and so any help anyone could give would be great please?!

Thanks for your help (an example is attached to help to explain it better!).
