create lines with copied data for every count in a table

    Hi all,

I would like to rearrange data from one excel sheet into a new one, using a macro/VBA script.
This is what I am trying to do:

I have the following arrangement on the input sheet:

    see attachment excel1.gif below.

and now I want to show a new sheet with a rearranged table to look like this:

    see attachment excel2.gif below.

So, basically for every count in the table a line needs to be generated that contains the line label (capital letter) and the two column labels (the small letter and the "yes" or "no").

If anyone could tell me how to do this, I would very very much appreciate it. I can't seem to find a solution myself.

    Thanks a lot.

Re: need help for simple script to rearrange data

actually, I finally got it figured out.
I obtained a script from another forum that eventually worked.

    thanks,

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.
    Hope that helps.

Reading your response it seems that you couldn't even be bothered to read our Forum Rules.

    Obviously cross posted.

    Dear all.
I am very sorry about having violated forum rules. This was not my intention. Anyhow, I hope that for the future I will get things right.
I now marked the thread as solved, changed the title to something that I find more concise, and below I also post now the cross-post link, where a solution came up.

Sorry for this. I promise to comply better with the forum rules in the future.
