Maybe this has already been answered, but i will appreciate it if someone can answer for it again.

I have a spreadsheet (BookA) with macros that opens another spreadsheet (BookB) from a shared network drive as soon as BookA is open. The idea is that all BookA type files are linked to BookB, so a simple change to BookB should change all BookA accordingly.

No pop-ups showed up when I opened up 2 different BookA on 2 different computer, both linking to same file.
BUT when Computer 1 changed something in BookB, saved it, the change only appeared in Computer 1. Computer 2 had to close and re-open BookA to see the change.

Is there a way to do this without close and re-open?

I already have allow changes by more than 1 person checked from Tools>Share Workbook for BookB (don;t need it for BookA).
