is anyone familiar with the LEN and MID functions to this code?
I sue text box for entering the integer then the text box for the key that want to be searched,
and another text box showing the number of occurrences
additional with two command buttons for Search and Clear

There's no need for code, other than the trivial task of clearing the entries. With your Value in cell C4, Search key in C6, just use the following formula to calculate the number of occurencies
