Question with adding restriction to an existing macro

    Hi,

I recently got a project to enhance a new field to restrict some countries from an invoice. For setting up restriction for certain matters, is it better to set a table and list out all of the countries that I want to include, and the one that is left out, then I want to restrict them?

If that's the case, how should I do that? Please walk me through from writing code to have the vba pick up that table. If there are other ways better to do that, please let me know. Thanks

I would start by trying to solve this problem on a spreadsheet first. The best program is no program.

    Hi siulonbow

SDruley's advice is sound. I'd need more information about your process to make specific suggestions. Based on your description, I'd think you'd need only one table of countries that are restricted.

If you could post a workbook (with propriety data dummied up) and examples of what you wish to do, it would help us to help you.

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.
    Hope that helps.
