Arrow Excel Formula for Comments? using ExecuteExcel4Macro

Is there a way to copy/get the "comments" of a cell using an excel formula?
i.e. if A1 contains a comment, copy that comment to B1?

Unfortunately, I have to work with a LOCKED out excel file (The owner lost the password - no, it's not me).

Anyhow, I am using ExecuteExcel4Macro to export the cell values to my new unlocked worksheet with great success, until now.

I'm thinking the easiest way (for me at this point without a rewrite of my VBA code) would be to call the excel formula within ExecuteExcel4Macro to export the comment along with the value.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    lock means?
if the sheet is just protected (mean you can open the file), then just unprotect it using some macro codes found in the net
