Search Selected Data for a Text String and replace entire cell with new tex

Sorry I am rather new to Macros etc., but I can't quite find the answer I am looking for on this forum yet.

I want to write a macro to search a user specified range of cells or columns for certain text strings, and replace that entire cell with a standardized name. For Example:

I would like to search for the strings "abc" ,"xyz", "mnop" .......these will be part of text within cells that will look something like this "xyz drilling Ltd.", "mnop, division of HR, LTD" etc.

What I would like this macro to accomplish is the following:

Search through all the cells that contain the "xyz" string, (ie. xyz drilling Ltd.) and replace all the text in that cell with just "Xyz".

I would also like it to do search for "mnop" string (i.e. mnop, division of, Ltd) and change all the text within the cell to "Mnop".

And so on and so on.

Thanks for any help, I hope I explained this ok.

See if this works. You can add as many terms to the array as you like.
