Making a data list from a separate quote sheets

Hi Thank you in advance for your help

what i am after is a code for when i open a master quote sheet with a code that is Creating Sequential number witch also changes the file name so the it can be saved with the generated number

when i am going back to search for a quote as they are save with numbers only if find it hard to find the one that i am after

is there away that when i generate a new quote that the contact details and quote number be save in a separate workbook as a list that i can filter to find the quote quickly

i have a file that i am using to quote if it is possible i would like to copy the following cells from sheet 1
D1,D2,D3,D4,D5,D6,G5,M5,Q5
