    Return furthest right value

    Hi,

    (attached file should help)

I have a spreadsheet tracking whether people have worked a full or half day for a given year.

What I need to know is the LAST day they worked. Is there any way I can use a formula or macro to search for the last value that isn't a zero, then return the corresponding date?

In the attached example, in column P there would be 23rd Nov for Mr Jones, 28th Nov for Mrs Smith, 25th Nov for Mr Prince and 20th Nov for Mrs Roberts.

    Any help much appreciated!

    Thank you

    DonkeyOte, thanks again.

    jonnya,

Never mind, this one was worth manually creating for my archives.

You are posting a picture. This means that if this was a problem where one needed to use your data, anyone trying to help you would have to enter the data manually. That makes no sense and I doubt that you would get any answer.

Please attach your workbook or a sample workbook that accurately portrays your current workbook on one sheet, and what it should look like 'After' on another sheet. This makes it much easier to see exactly what you want to do, as well as shows us whether there is a consistent number of rows between tables and such.
