    Question Open pdf from VBA

    Dear friends,
is it possible to launch a macro which opens a pdf file (I've placed this pdf in the original start up directory), which will be opened -by default- in Acrobat reader? So, the user might decide to print this file; after clicking the Acrobat reader away, he/she should return to the main (Excel) program. Or is this perhaps a silly question?
    Thanks!

    Hi Kees Korver,

There are several methods for doing so, two of which I've shown below. The second one may pop up a security warning if the file is not in a trusted location.
