Making an accounting application? How do i do it?!

Here goes a long shot, just wondered if there are any programmers that can actually step by step help me in excel VBA.

I've got an assignment to hand in (in around two months time)

The thing is, i can't seem to get my head around things, i keep confusing functions etc - I just can't write it?!

This is my brief below:

- Showing the current balance.
- Processing transactions, both debits and credits. When the transaction has been processed, the closing balance must be displayed.

I was wondering if someone could actually step by step tell me what would be needed done e.g. if statements etc or even like some advice on where to start at first - would be really appreciated

(feel free to do the code for me if you want! )

Somehow I don't feel your current title is better than the first one. Try it in a Google search and see what you get.

You won't get any help unless you at least make an attempt yourself! personally, on the information provided I can't see why you need to program it, you should be able to work with Excel's Functions
