I have got a workbook that has got 6 sheets.
all i want is to have data automatically populated and charts generated when a record is selected.
Sheet 1 is the master(contains current data ), sheet 2(decision making sheet, calculations done here) gets data from sheet 1, sheet 3( charts sheet -2 pages) get data from sheet 2 for page 1 charts and sheet 4 for page 2 charts. sheet 4(comparison sheet) has data for 3 years, lets say 2007,2008,2009 in series.(2009 data is from sheet 1). data in sheet 4 is filtered according to years. when a record is selected in sheet 4(i,e according to years,charts are produced in sheet 3 for that record but data has to be entered manually,now what i want is the data to be populated automatically .
for example cell m6 will get data from sheet 2 lets say from L6. I want this to be copied for the rest of the records,lets say 200 record so that when i select a record the cell is filled automatically. please note that same record is selected from all the three years for comparison purposes.And a record is selected using sheet 4.Each record has got a unique key that identify it.The record is selected three times that is in accordance with the years that are in the series. please help me i want to complete my college project as soon as possible.
