    Question how to speed up macro code execution?

    Hi friends,

    I am executing a macro code which containing a large data (approx 5000 cells),the problem is the execution of macro is too slow...can any one please help me out to speed up the macro execution.I have already used the screen updating option false intialy.

    Any help will be appreciated.Thanks in advance.

    Screen updating won't work alone.

    If your code incluses unnecessary Selecting, Activating or Loops this will slow execution considerably.

    Also, if the is a large number of calculations in the sheet then switching Calculation to manual will help

    I cant publish the code for sme confidential issues.If u can just tell me any process or command that will make the code execution fast,It will be highly appreciated.
