Red face Cell reference from indirect rather than blank cell

Not sure if i should use the code wrap here, don't want to get in trouble though.

How do I get the result of the indirect funtion to actually show the cell reference in this case ('asset sheet'!$B$43) as text in the cell? At the moment that will result in a blank cell.

    Thank you

    Remove the INDIRECT function.

You said you wanted the cell reference. The INDIRECT function is being passed the cell reference as a string, which it then converts into the value of that cell, so if you remove the INDIRECT function, you are left with the string itself:
    =IF(LEFT(A2,7)="HP 7800",$I$1&"!"&"b"&COUNTA('HP 7800 PC'!B:B),"not working2")
