I learned from someone else's example, just like you.
What is curious to me is that the Borders collection includes just 4 borders (l/r/t/b), but you can index eight different members by name (edge l/r/t/b, inside h/v, diagonal u/d). It may be convenient, but it's startlingly inconsistent.
@shg: and yet, when you select a 2x2 cell matrix, you get borders around all four cells.
I have yet to use diagonal boders ... although I'm sure there are lot's of uses, if I did but know.
