    .Activate vs .Select

    Hi all,

    This is probably a silly question but I don't understand the answer so I'm going to ask anyways. What is the difference between .Activate and .Select? They both appear to do the same thing.

    Only one oobject (sheet, cell, ...) can be active (Activate). Multiple objects can be selected. One of the selected objects is the active one.

    I don't use them anymore except phor when a workbook opens. I like to direct the user to a speciphic page when he/she opens the workbook. Other than that, I don't use Select or Activate anymore. Thanks though!

    I'm making it my mission to omit them. I may miss one or two because even I can't help 36 years of redundant, arbitrary use of the letter.
