No code getting generated from a record

I'm having trouble gettig Excel to write some code for me in Office '07. I record some steps but nothing appears in that macro in the editor screen.

I tried saving the workbook as a macro-enabled file, but that didn't work.

I need it for use in a macro that uses WordArt, if that is any help. is there some check box to set it to write the code or make it visible?

I'm replying to my own post. When I record other macros, code is written. It's just when it involves WordArt that it doesn't. It's simply changing the font and font size of the text and resize the object.

The bulk of the macro is already recorded. I attached that file, but it is an '03 file.
