Question How do I change date formate in Active X Calendar

I use the Active X Calendar to pop up next to my date field on my spreadsheet. Everything works fine but I want to change the date format in the calendar.

How do you change the format of the active X calendar so it displays the date as follows:

    mmm-dd-yyyy ie Nov-29-2010

Right now the date defaults to the following:

    mm/dd/yyyy or 11-29-2010

The field that the pop up calendar is linked to has the data field defined as
    mmm-dd-yyyy

Whenever someone selects a date from the calendar it goes from mm/dd/yyyy to
    mmm-dd-yyyy

    Hi cmwilbur,

There has been different versions of the ActiveX calendar and the current one is DTPicker.

I believe the format may be changeable from the ActiveX properties dialog, if you have one.

See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...ffice.10).aspx for an image of the
ActiveX Contro GetDate and the Format Tab on this dialog.

Re: How do I change date formate in Active X Calendar

When I picked the Calendar thru Active X Controls the Calendar I selected was Calendar 12. I am using Excel 2007. I did not choose the other Active X Calendar control that you mentioned. Can I change the date format if I use Calendar 12?
