adjusting comment box size for an entire column

I have added comments to certain cells in column A. Take a look at the image below:

Now i want to extend the comment box to a specific range. From recording macro, i get the following codes for extending the comment box of cell A1.

Instead of me manually changing the comment box size of each cell.I want a macro that changes the comment box size to a specific range in column A.

That's exactly what I have been looking for also.
The only issue this noob is having now is, whenever I go to another sheet and back, it enlarges again ???
Ideally and probably easier for my situation would be to just change the default comment box size...
Any tips on doing this would be appreciated...
I've looked and seen several code snippets that come close but, no cigar.
Thx in advance.
