Try SUMIF
elg
=SUMIF(A1:A10,"A",B1:B10)+SUMIF(A1:A10,"T",B1:B10)
Where there is a will there are many ways.

Hi,
I think you'll need to upload a sample workbook. When you do be sure to manually enter the results you expect to get - and add notes describing how the results are calculated if it's not immediately obvious.

looks good, but the issue also steam from the cell I need the info from are not one after the other
EG: BK9 BC9 AU9 AM9 AE9 W9 O9
if T or A is input in the above it will take the numbers in
Bj9 BB9 etc
As per Richard's request, post a sample workbook with expected results.
Here is the sample
the orange square are what Im looking for.
How did you get 6?
If the answer is supposed to be 7.5, then try:
=SUMPRODUCT((F5:BB5="A/LS/LE")*((F6:BB6="A")+(F6:BB6="T")),E6:BA6)
Excellent, that solve most of my problem, what if I want to add if the A/ls/le column number and that it calculate those number OR the A or T as you set up?
So if the A/LS/LE column has a number in it, use that, or if it has A or T use the previous column entry.. is that what you mean?
Exactly
Try:
=SUMPRODUCT(($F$5:$BB$5="A/LS/LE")*(($F6:$BB6="A")+($F6:$BB6="T")),$E6:$BA6)+SUMIF($F$5:$BB$5,"A/LS/LE",$F6:$BB6)
Excellent! that does the job! thanks a lot
