calculating working hours

i have this weekly data which contains emp_id,date,device no,time and in/out status.
1)i wont be able to convert the date in mm/dd/yyyy format in excel.
2)wont be able to calculate the min time of in and the max of out time for those who used to attend office on apprx from 21:30:00 to next day morning 7:30:00.and wont be able to compute the working hour as well.
