[=0]"";hh:mm using VBA instead of format?

I have been using [=0]"";hh:mm to make any zero values just show up as blank. I recently inserted a new formula

in order to show a text result or time. This meant I had to format as "General" in order for the formula to work. Blank time cells are now showing 00:00 instead of just a blank cell. Can I use VBA to make these blank cells appear blank?

    Solved without VBA usage.

If you don't want to display zeros, you can change the setting in Advanced Options.
    Hope that helps.

Well, you have inadvertently solved another issue I was having, so thank you. However, while my 0s have all diappeared, my 00:00 are still there. Other thoughts?

That code doesn't compile for me. You need to double-up the quotes within the formula.

Are your 00:00s formatted as numbers? They disappear for me with the option not to show zeros set.

No, they are formatted as "General". See my original post to see the formula that is generating them. They are 00:00 because the cell they are pointing at is blank.
