SOLVED: Conditional Formatting Question

I'm trying to 2 different types of conditional formats and would appreciate some help:

I have attached an example spreadsheet to give more color. The first that I am trying to do is in sheet 1. Here i would like to be able to highlight the cell that matches a target cell. I have no problem doing this for a few rows but I am running into problems when I try to copy down the formatting when I have e.g. 100 cells. When I copyy down the formatting it always refences the same cell.

The second type I am trying to do is for highlighting the cell when value in line 1 matches corresponding cell in column B - like a matrix.

I am using excel 2003. Any further help would be great - thanks!
