    Transferring Columns using Preset Headers

    The following spreadsheet, has columns in J through W.
    I have a list of the column headers that I want in Columns B through H.
    I would like to transfer relevant columns in J through W into respective columns in B through I.

    The problem is that the order of columns may differ in J through W and some columns may be omitted in different Spreadsheets. However, the columns in B through I remain constant

    You can see what I mean by looking at the attached spreadsheet on how it looks before and how I want it look after in the sample spreadsheet.

    I believe this requires a Macros. Thank you well in advance for your help.

    Try this

    Make 2 named ranges

    1/. "DataTable" (Dynamic)
    Refers to:=
    Please Login or Register to view this content.

    2/. "Headers"
    Refers to:=
    Please Login or Register to view this content.

    In B2
    Please Login or Register to view this content.
    Drag Across to column K
    Then Down to suit

    Hope this helps.
