Once the new workbook is created, I want to save the new workbook with name from input box.

Try pressing F12.............why not just save as a new name?

Re: Macro to create new workbook and save it after formatting

It creates new workbook and saves in the same folder where the macro file is available. But when I open the "New workbook" it prompts me below message

"The File you are trying to open, "New Workbook", is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to open the file now?"

    Please help to resolve this.

    Regards,
    Vijay

    Any thought?
