Hi,
I have various spreadsheets that I currently distribute via our intranet for managers to download. However there are hundreds of users and the IT throughout the business is somewhat inconsitent. I thought a good way to overcome this is if my spreadsheet was just a web form and wondered if this is possible.
The spreadsheet does a few things that are important which makes me think this may not be possible...
Each user fills the sheet out weekly and may add to it multiple times throughout the week by filling out the front page and clicking save to output and they then save it as normal. Then the following monday they go to the output tab and click email HR and save. This then creates a csv file which is saved in a folder on their desktop and also emails it to HR, sends them confirmation and emails each of the employees that were submitted from the output tab.
The imeadiate problem I can see is the fact that they may add to it more than once throughout the week and so need to save it, could they reopen it if it was a webform with only their details on it? And will the macros etc work? I have attached an example of the sheet I want.
Essentially there are 2 tabs input and output. you key in to input save to output and can do this multiple times throught the week. Then once a week you submit the details from the output sheet emailing HR, yourseslf and all the employees.
