    I'm having a problem with a Index/Match formula

Hi Guys, please can someone help, I'm having a problem with a Index/Match formula

I have 1 sheet with names that have been grouped and therefore have gaps inbetween like this:
    A B
    Gabbi 0.982053096
    #N/A
    #N/A
    #N/A
    #N/A
    #N/A
    #N/A
    #N/A
    James #REF!
    Rachel #REF!
    Calvin #REF!
    #N/A
    #N/A
    #N/A
    #N/A
    #N/A
    #N/A
    #N/A
    Barry #REF!
    Peter #REF!

Now i have another sheet with their names going accross and their numbers below:
    A B C D E F
Gabbi James Rachel Calvin Barry Peter
    0.95 1.00 0.95 0.93 0.99 0.95

All the above is not in order, the names are spread accross the sheet randomly,
I would like the first, linear list, to collect the numbers and below their names, as you can see i cant get it right??

    any help would be appreciated
    Thanks
    Paul

It would be helpful if you uploaded the workbook or a typical sample.

apologies, hope this comes out better, I have 2 lists, 1 going downwards & the other going accross, in 2 different sheets.
I'm trying to get the number below the person in the horizontal row to show next to the name in the vertical row?

No; please upload a copy of the workbook.

    Go Advanced
Click on the paperclip icon (attachments)
    Browse to a folder/file
    Select upload
    Close the window
