Finding text from another Excel Document

I'm trying to search a text into another excel file and take values from there accordingly. Unfortunately I get "Subscript Out of Range" every time I try to run this macro and I'M sure there is such a file and sheet in that file...

Where am I doing wrong?

I tried like you said and nothing changed, I cannot search anything from another excel file

Change the name of your workbook in the code supplied

This is working now, but I cannot use this if the excel that I'm trying to search is closed. Isnt there any way to make this work if being searched excel is closed?

It has to be open, how else will you goto it?
