Find Blank Cell and Act On It

Hello All,

I have been posting a ton and getting great help. This is the latest one and I know I have seen examples, but I can't find any that match my need.

Identify if a cell is blank. If so, cell to the right put a "No". If it isn't blank (I don't care what is in there), put a yes. This is the code I am using.

At first I could get it to at least look at the first cell (but nothing happened and it wouldn't look any further) now it won't even run (something to do with the defining of "Cell3"). Once again, I appreciate any help.

Depending on how many blanks you have - and assuming they are true blanks:

above assumes you're referring to blanks within the "used" region (as determined by content in Q)

Thank you both for the quick response. However, both programs stop when it runs into its first blank cell. Maybe I did something wrong, but it did identify correctly all of the populated cells at the start.

Neither suggestion is "iterative" - cells are handled en masse (if there are no blanks the 2nd would generate a debug - did this happen ?)

Could you post a sample file please ?

In the sample there is no data in Q ... can you clarify the objective based on the sample ? Are you looking to populate P based on O ?

Sorry, just move over first commit date to the "Q" column and the Part Number to the "P" column. I forgot I have other things that run first moving those over automatically.
