    Question How: 2 Textfiles merged into 1 Excelfile

    Hi everyone,

    Im kind of new here so please assist me with my problem.

    Scenario.
    -I have 2 textfiles to be merged in 1 excelfiles, but i dont know how to start with it using the VBA macro. Ill attach the source file and the result file for reference.

    Sorry about this, coz im having a difficulties merging it everyday if creating a macro can save time why not.


    The results shows at row 213 ends the 1st txtfile and 2nd txt file starts at row 214.

    Hi there I hope someone guide me in my code below how to finish it coz im not a good programmer in VBA. Im just putting all the line together.

    i would like to insert this code below because my file is fixedwith delimited and replace the ActiveSheet.Paste with something else coz it doesnt fit the code (it only runs when have something in clipbord).

    Hi pike,

    Thanks for the reply, your code is already nearly close to what i want.. How can i remove the header of the textfile wherein it should start on Total header on B:1 and end with 180<t header at K:1, and the second file should just append on the last line of the first file without header itself..(see attached file result for reference)

    this will copy the data and you could just add the headers?

    Go to the first post
    Click edit
    Click Go Advanced
    Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
    Change to Solved
    Click Save
