password protecting worksheets

Hello,

I'm looking for a way to password protect certain worksheets in an excel document. When the file is opened, I want to only one worksheet to be viewable. Each time a user tries to click on the other worksheets, I want access to be restricted unless a correct password is entered.

I'm concerned that if I use VBA code, the macros won't necessarily be enabled upon opening, and therefore the password protection won't be effective. Is there a way to password protect certain worksheets by using the inputted value in a cell, without using VBA? I would appreciate some help developing either the VBA code or simply using excel functions.

You will need VBA to achieve what you are asking
