Hi Guys,
I know that there is a reason why excel is doing this, but I cant think why.
I need to find out the combined width of a number of consecutive columns.
Now if I set the column width of 20 columns to 2 it means that they have a combined width of 40, so if I set a column to 40 they should be the same width?
If I execute the following code:
And then visually compare the width of column V to the total width of columns A:T you can see, just by looking, that they are not the same size.
Now to prove this if I highlight row 1 and format it to "ARIAL" and font size 10 and type the following into range A1 "Microsoft Excel is a fun tio work with but has a few quirky things". Then type the exact same thing in cell V1 you can see that the text fits comfortably in the range A1:T1 but it overlaps over in cell V1.
My question is how do you determine the width of cells A1:T1.
Cheers
Phil
