I would like to create a macro to make a comment with Arial 8, blue font, light grey background and blue outline.. OR is there a way to change the default comment format to this. Thx!

Hi Xx7
the best place to start is to record a macro of the steps

Doesn't work for me
font is default (tahoma), colour is black, and no background colour??
hi Xx7
you can look at the code and change the values to suit
sorry you will need to do a little more than that
this will change all the comments in the workbook font to arial 8 bold blue
and back ground to green

Having abit of trouble changing the below to the "light grey" color i'm looking for... tried the macro recorder with shapes, textboxes, comments... no luck
objcmt.Shape.Fill.ForeColor.SchemeColor = 3
me either ,still looking
Looks like they are the same as colorindex
so 22 works
