    Default Comment format (colour, font)

    I would like to create a macro to make a comment with Arial 8, blue font, light grey background and blue outline.. OR is there a way to change the default comment format to this. Thx!

    the best place to start is to record a macro of the steps

    Doesn't work for me

    font is default (tahoma), colour is black, and no background colour??

    sorry you will need to do a little more than that
    this will change all the comments in the workbook font to arial 8 bold blue
    and back ground to green

    Nice... it works


    Having abit of trouble changing the below to the "light grey" color i'm looking for... tried the macro recorder with shapes, textboxes, comments... no luck


    objcmt.Shape.Fill.ForeColor.SchemeColor = 3

    Looks like they are the same as colorindex
    so 22 works

    How to mark a thread Solved
    Go to the first post
    Click edit
    Click Go Advanced
    Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
    Change to Solved
    Click Save
