Manipulate qualitative data

Hi!

I receive information in this form

.....

All day long - at times thousands of rows of that.

The format I need it in is:

ABCD
ABCDE
ABCD

Anybody know how I can easily do this? I've been pasting transposed, and then cutting and pasting...often for extended periods of time.
