Is Hidden the Same as Not Visible?

I modified the code on this page:

so that it also shows whether each shape is visible or not:

My question is: Are "Visible" and "Not Hidden" the same thing? When I Google around, the terms Visible and Unhidden seem to be used interchangeably, but other sites treat them as two different properties.

(For my macro, I want to test for all hiddenness/visibility, so is the Visible= False all I need, or do I also need to also test for Hidden=False?)

Shapes have a Visible property but they don't have a Hidden property.
Ranges have a Hidden property but they don't have a Visible property.

So, you can't use the Hidden property in your example.
