copying data from 1 sheet to another based on condition by VB Macro

HI All,

Thanks in Advance.

I am a new user and I am stuck up badly in my project....
I am trying to input data to a sheet based on the field updated in another sheet.
For eg.
in Sheet "data input"... there are 4 columns heading :
date Account Name Amount
01-Mar A 100
01-Mar B 200
01-Mar C 300
01-Mar D 400
if i enter this data this should directly insert "amount field" in another sheet name"result" based on date and account number.

In your workbook, this macro will:

1) Add dates in column A of the result sheet if missing
2) Add Accounts to row 2 of the results sheet if missing
