Extract information from existing workbooks

Hopefully this can be done.

I have workbooks organised into folders for each month of the year. Each folder holds approximately 60 workbooks and I've been asked to extract just one field from each work book for the last 6 months.

The information will be in the exact same cell for each for the workbooks.

So my question is:

Can I create a collection of the workbooks, loop through each one and extract the figure in a specified cell?

This would save me opening each one to manually obtain the information

Ahhh, seems I have found out how this is done. How do I change this thread to 'Solved' or delete it?
