Using inputbox and counter as control, excel 2000

All I want to do is run a counter through a maximum number of iterations and then at certain values in the interation bring up the inputbox and place the inputbox value in a certain cell in the worksheet.

The input box ran at various points but I'm not sure where to put or if i use the following (end if, loop, do while, do until, etc) correctly to make it run.

Then it either won't run, gets hung up, or iterations keep going past where i ask it to stop.

Thanks, something overlooked or too easy I just pulled together things to work.
