read data from usb interface

Hi all,

i am newbie here.

I have a big question, how could I read the data from USB Probe.

Our group want to buy a dial indicator (DIGICO 10 from TESA) with USB interface.
The software is actually available, but so costly. We decide to read out the data using excel.

Can someone show us the way?
