    text overflow in a shape

How can I tell if the text in a shape is too long (overflows) the shape. It looks like there was an textframe.overflow property with excel 2003 vba, but I do not see it for excel 2007 vba, or I missed it.

Can you right click the shape?, and then select Format, then in one of the tabs check the autosize checkbox. It will adjust the size according to how much text you have.

Re: text overflow in a shape

I need to do this via vba...I have a shape where the text in it is truncated and I want to determine if the shape has text that is truncated or overflows, so I can resize the shape via VBA to fit the text. Basically, I will change the height of the shape so the text will wrap around and fill in the shape.
