save email attachments from incoming mail

    Hi,

I've seen a few bits and pieces about saving email attachments from incoming emails to a folder, but wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction as how to go about this?

Also I wanted to know is it possible to do this without using outlook? I currently use CDO to email by bypassing the client we use, but can this be done to file and save incoming mail attachments?

    Hi,

To my limited knowledge you would need to do this with something like Outlook but don't quote me on that.

    I'd suggest a look at Sue Mosher's site: http://www.outlookcode.com/

Coding with Outlook can be an interesting experience. I've written various bits and pieces but nothing that does exactly what you're asking and don't really have time today to mess about too much I'm afraid.
