    Macro To Populate Adobe PDF

    Hi

I have another problem involving a set-up to a PDF from a macro. On the "results tab", there is a macro built-in to the purple button, that populates the information below based on the end user's selections of category and percentage. (thank you forum gurus marvinP & jaslake)

Is there any macro out there that would create a PDF based on the selections from the results tab? Could I potentially solve this issue with a lot of IF,THEN formulas (I think that could become very messy)? I'm open to any and all suggestions.

I have attached the spreadsheet, the "for PDF" tab shows the preferred layout for the end user's PDF.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I found my name in your post and was worried I was in trouble (again).

Excel 2010 has a Save As PDF, which I did and attached the output. Is this what you want?

    Hi Marvin

No, your previous help was greatly appreciated . Yes, that is the end result that the user will need, but based off of the users inputs from the "results" tab. The current "for PDF" tab from the attached spreadsheet is just to show the wanted layout.

    Thanks.

    Hi rygon8

I'm not certain but I THINK you're asking for a procedure to POPULATE Sheet "For PDF". The code in the attached does that. If this is not what you require, please explain further.

    Hi John

Yes, that is what I'm looking for. To have the "for PDF" tab populated based on the user's inputs from the "results" tab. I don't think you attached anything to your thread ?

    Thank you.

    Hi John,

Yes, this works great. I was wondering is it possible to have the code set so that the "for PDF" tab stacked on top of each other, you can see from the attached spreadsheet on the "example tab".

Thank you for all of your help.

    Hi rygon8

Was wondering how you might wish to deal with that WIDE pdf. Yes, I should think that possible...need to work on it. Get back to you...

    Hi rygon8

Try the attached. I've taken the liberty to do some formatting on Sheet "For PDF 5". You can comment out those lines if you like. Let me know of issues.

    Hi John

Thank you again for all of your help on this. One issue, when you select one or two categories from the "results" tab the filter gets turned on in Excel in the results tab. When you then click on the purple button the categories and percentages go blank. Let me know of any solutions to this.

    Thanks.

    Hi rygon8

Sorry, I'm color blind and didn't notice Auto Filter was still on. There's a line of code out of place

    Hi John

That worked great. I re-attached the file, in case anyone else wants to see the final excel file.

    Thank you, very much appreciated.
