Hi there!

im a newbie in excel and need much of your private time, lets see who can help!!!

I work in a company that takes orders by phone, and instead of buying a system that'll work with our inventory sytem as a team, they preferr that we build something ourselfs...

anyway, we take the phone call:

1) take the customers phone number,
if number is in our system we'll have a vlookup function that returns the customers info, i.e. name address city state zip...

if number isnt in system we'll enter it as a new customer

2) customer places order, gives all info what they want NOT by saying item numbers or something like it, just by saying the exact info of the item, so sometimes it'll be: "1 pk of stanley screws, 4 inch, size # 8" and sometimes they'll say: "screws 4 inch, drywall only, any #",
basiclly the first and second example are the same it's just that the two different customers explained the item in a different way.

3) we print it.
4) order taker goes and puts together the orde and ships thru a different system which dosnt make a difference here,

now, i want an excel sheet to take all of these and add some "stuff" to it!

like:
1) lines between each item 7 small empty boxes next to each item to check off if item was packed,
2) cant open a new order if this order wasnt printed,
3) alot of orders contain cases of items, which get put together by a different team of people, i want somehow that cases to be highlighted and it should be obvius when printed
4) order should be saved automaticcly when printed and the name of the filename should be the customers phone number and todays date,
5) there should be a way to "login" to this sheet and when printed it should somehow say "order takin by xxxx"
6) our items are sorted in a wharehouse, which is vary hard to describe but ill try my best....
we have screws in one isle, bolts in another, and so on...
now when customer asks for "screws #4" it should come up in the next cell which isle it is, but that is vary tricky cuz sometimes customers say "screws #4" and sometimes they say "# 4 screws only if we have from stanley"

hope you got my idea....
(i might add somethings but this is basiclly what we need)

can anyone help me buils such a sheet???
