Debugging - Show workbook if code running on memory?

    Hi

I have some code that I am trying to debug, however, it all runs on the system memory and only spits out an output at the end of the code.

I am looking to have the workbook shown in the background so I can see what is going on as I step through the code.

I am pretty sure you can put a command in the immediate window or similar to do this?

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

in vbe you can step through your code and indeed use the immediate window to see variable content.
You can also use debug.print method in code.
Or you could make use of the Watch window.

Is there anyway to bring the workbook thats being worked on in the memory available to look at on screen?

It would be easier to tell you that if you showed us the code ;-) Ideally, in the workbook.

if it runs in memory what help would seeing the workbook be?

Why is it not visible. Normally you have to take steps to hide things.

I am debugging code that was written by someone who no longer works in the company so no idea why it was written in this manner.

Start of the code is as follows:

Your post does not comply with Rule 3 of our Forum RULES. Use code tags around code. Posting code without them makes your code hard to read and difficult to be copied for testing. Highlight your code and click the # at the top of your post window. For more information about these and other tags, found here
