Same conditional format for every nth column?

    Hi

Is there an easy way to select every nth column for a conditional formatting.
I have an excel sheet with about 500 columns of data. I need to ad a conditional formatting, coloring the cells (green above 1,96, red below -1,96) but only for every, say 6th column.

Add an extra condition within an AND() formula including your current condition and this extra condition:

    MOD(COLUMN(A$1:A1)-COLUMN($A1),6)=0

this will identify every 6th column starting at column A.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
