Macro to find bold cells then clear adjacent cell

Hi everyone! I would sure appreciate some help with this one. Studying this forum has really helped me write several complicated (for me) macros, but I don't seem to be getting this part.

I need a macro that will search a range of cells in a single column for bold text. When it finds bold text, I need it to clear (not delete) the cells directly on the right & left of the bold text.

Specifically, I need the macro to search cells D90:D1199 looking for bold text. If it happens to find bold text in cell D95, then I need it to clear the data from cells C95 and E95. Then I need it to continue the search through row 1199 repeating these steps anytime it encounters another bold entry in the D column.

I'm running Excel 2003. And I'm more than happy to send brownies to anyone that can help!

Mordred & Chance2 are both fast & brilliant! Thanks so much for the input, this is just what I needed. I'm going to try extending the capabilities of this macro on my own, but it is a real comfort knowing this forum is here when the going gets tough. I'm happy to send you both brownies but wondering how to get info without posting it for all to see???? THANKS AGAIN!

Just tip the scales on top left corner of the posts that you like, that is good enough brownies for me!
