Make dates not show in Pivot Table

I have one workbook with two worksheets. I am trying to figure out how I can make sheet 2,"which is a Pivot Table" not show dates under column titled, "Contact Due Date" which is being pulled from Sheet 1. I am going to use this column as a Query where dates will be picked but I do not want the dates to show on the Pivot Table column. Any ideas?

If I'm honest I don't really understand the question...

I *think* you're saying you need the field to remain visible but any date values should be hidden and only text should persist, is that correct ?

You could apply a Custom Number Format to the column of: ;;;@ - the underlying date values remain (formula bar) but are not visible per se.

If you don't need the field in the Pivot at all just remove it.
